Who?

Who are they...

A family affair

Heavenly Organics Skin Care is a company owned by husband-and-wife team, Mary-Anne and Rob. The products are handmade at their purpose-built home studio in rural West Wales.

Why?

Mary-Anne had been vegan for several years and living an organic lifestyle as much as possible, when she found herself asking the question, ‘Why can’t I find 100% organic, natural and vegan skincare that is also kind to the planet?’ As she found that many products claim to be organic and/or natural yet contained so many different chemicals, with the vast majority in plastic packaging!

How?

So, Mary-Anne decided to start making skincare for her own use and also gifted them to her friends. She subsequently received excellent feedback and after some soul searching together with Rob’s encouragement, Mary-Anne took a leap of faith, she left her full-time employment and created Heavenly Organics Skin Care.

What & When?

What’s in a name

After thinking about it, brainstorming and asking for opinions Mary-Anne decided on the name, Heavenly Organics Skin Care, which was established in 2011. They started with just three body scrubs they were made with organic extra virgin olive oil, unrefined sea salt and organic essential oils, leaving the skin moisturised and beautifully exfoliated. Today, they have an extensive range of over 90 products and growing, which include, hand creams, body creams, body butters, face creams, eye creams, face creams, lip balms, foot creams, deodorants, face masks, cleansers, soaps, facial oils, body oils, facial scrubs, hair conditioners and baby butters. Rose geranium is the best-selling scent

Heavenly Organics Skin Care is a brand that only produces 100% organic, natural and vegan skincare. The sustainability and health of the planet and all its inhabitants is at the core of all their decision- making. All the products are supplied in glass jars or aluminium containers. Refills are offered where possible in compostable bags. The business has grown substantially over the years, winning multiple awards along the way. They continue to strive to be not only ethical but also to improve the quality of organic and natural skincare.

Looking Forward to the Future

Going further to protect the planet

Heavenly Organics Skin Care considers every aspect of their impact on the planet and try to tread as lightly as possible. They only use recycled and biodegradable cardboard for all product packaging and their labels are printed in-house on recycled paper and the printer ink is non-toxic.

Paper tape is used to secure boxes and packaging and recycled waste paper is shredded to use as void filler. They also reuse dissolvable packing pellets for larger orders. Packaging that is unable to be reused is passed on to a number of other local businesses to use. Retail outlets and customers can return their empty glass jars and receive a 50p credit on their next purchase!

Finally, Heavenly Organics Skin Care make donations as and when they can to their local food bank and support a number of animal rescue & ethical charities.
